Refuge Youth Ministries

Every ministry is driven by something. There is always some guiding form that determines the direction and goals for an individual or the group. Unless the driving force behind the church is biblical, the health and growth of the church will never be what God intended. Strong believers are not built on programs, personalities, or gimmicks but on the eternal purposes of God. These purposes are the foundation of the Youth ministry at Tyler Street United Methodist Church and guide every program that we do. The five purposes of the church can be found in the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). The purposes are worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship and ministry.
